PHILOSOPHISING

AGES. it has been a while. time has flown by, i have aged.
it is all moving so quickly.
it has been six months since last,
and i still have no idea as to what path i want to take.
what makes it all complicated now is that i have discovered a new interest
- pathology.
still a neuroscience psychology kind of lab coat nerd at heart though.

i have started to work myself into a rut.
working hours upon hours and dedicating myself to my job, to escape what i really need to pour all my energy into.

sometimes i wonder though, if we are born to die, isn't surviving the most difficult task we are given? but what are we surviving for?
what is the point of analysing an economy and its finances?
what is the purpose for finding a cure for diseases and such
if it is all suppose to end.
isn't dragging out the end more painful?

but don't get me wrong, i have not fallen into a state of depression.
just thinking.
about the meaning of life,
i want to find passion and soul.

over and out.

TWENTY QUESTIONS

ICEBREAKERS are so awkward. But who am I kidding, so am I... Since I am yet to know the direction of my life this blog here are some Q&As:

thing you can not leave the house without.
Probably my phone. Typical generation Y answer.

favourite makeup brand.
I have to say currently, By Terry, is my obsession. Followed closely by the Chanel and Dior.

favourite flower.
white camellias and pink peonies.

favourite clothing store.
Myer. It was Glassons, until they turned into a Supre, yuck.

favourite perfume.
Haven't tried enough to make a solid judgement but my signature one is MJ Daisy. foolproof

heels or flats. FLATS.
I am too tall to wear heels daily.

did you make good grades?
In primary-heck yeah! High school- pretty alright.

favourite colours?
Pink.

do you drink energy drinks?
Yes, I have an addiction problem.

do you drink juice?
not really.

do you like swimming?
Terrified of the water. mental scarring.

do you eat fries with a fork?
no. Unless my hands are disgusting and covered with filth.

favourite moisturiser
Do not have one as of yet.

do you want to get married later on in life?
Always thought i would want to, but lately, my commitment issues have soared above the sky's limit. Divorce is too simple and easy.

do you get mad easily?
I can control it, but yes.

are you into ghosthunting.
what. no.

any phobias?
So phobias are those fears that obstruct my daily life. Not sure if the following count but pigeons and 'scary' movies. I put scary in quotations purely because action films are also scary according to my definition. Many slight words, objects, etc illicit fear and sleepless nights... thinking about it is making me scared....

do you bite your nails?
never have.

have you ever had a near death experience?
Yes. Nearly drove off a cliff. And nearly hit by cars multiple times. While we are at it, trees tend to pop out of nowhere and make me walk into them.

do you drink coffee?
yes, love it.

Reaching the end, I bid you adieu to you and you and you!

FIRST

REALITY has dawned on me, i don't know what i want to do with my life anymore. I use to be so determined. People always ask me why I work (in ref. to my job) so much. The answer is: to escape reality. The unknown. It freaks me out that i'm at university, apparently working incredibly hard, but for what?

To add to that the world is changing, I am changing, but even my mind hasn't caught up to that.

Here's what's changed:
I eat wholegrain, multigrain and that. ew.
I can drive. Not well. But good enough.
I am at war with my body's immune system. so far, i'm losing.

To break the intense serious-ness, I want to know what the can opener is used for! Extra brownie points for whoever knows what that is in reference to.

Hooray for my first post!
